Waiter/Waitress
Have a positive attitude and a love for learning, fast worker, previous experience and knowledge of Mexican cuisine is a + but not a requirement.
About the role: ensure guests have an excellent dining experience by providing stellar customer service. Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to guests. Ensure smooth communication between the front of house and kitchen. Maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follows up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests. Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Ensure tables are clean and tidy at all times.
Bartender
Must be reliable and a team player with a positive attitude, available to work evenings & weekends demonstrating genuine hospitality and delivering exceptional guest services in the bar area. Experience and LCQ would be preferred.
About the role: Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar and in the restaurant. Helping guests be aware of and choose menu items, taking orders and making guests feel taken care of during their visit. Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service. Adhering to company standards and New Zealand Laws for serving alcoholic beverages.
Duty Manager
Have a solid history in hospitality and previous experience in a similar role. You can communicate well with your customers and your team and are enthusiastic about upskilling and training. You love people and pride yourself on ensuring each customer has a positive experience.
About the role: You will need LCQ & Manager license. You will have to ensure employee productivity, monitor efficiency of all processes and create a positive work environment for employees. Have direct contact with the customers, the owner, suppliers, and both the Front of House and Kitchen team. This is a full-time role so you must be available for a variety of split shifts over 6 days including weekends. We are closed on Mondays.
Back of housE | KITCHEN - PT & FT
Kitchen Hand
Enthusiastic, organised, and able to work well in a team. Able to work well under pressure and to show initiative. Good at following instructions and paying attention to detail.
About the role: You will help with the dishes and to clean the kitchen. You may also help kitchen staff prepare food.
Sous Chef
You should have proven skills in a similar a la carte environment, a thorough understanding of both Food and Health & Safety Acts, a positive attitude to lead our team.
About the role: Oversees and supervises kitchen staff. Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies. Ensures that food is top quality and that kitchen is in good condition. Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
Cooks
A passion for cooking and a positive approachable attitude are a must for this position. An understanding of special dietary requirements and allergies, ability to time management and understanding of food safety. Great communication skills.
About the role: Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen. Executes food production following standards of plating guide specifications. Attends to the detail and presentation of each order. Places and expedites orders.
